Puppy Love
For about 2 weeks now, Landon has been dragging my hair dryer around like it is a dog on a leash, so Paul recently bought Landon a little toy puppy, and Landon loves it. Maybe one day we can get Landon a real puppy, but not any time soon.

My Buddy
Landon is really not much of a cuddler unless he is sleepy or sick. He would much rather be on the move. The toys that he enjoys the most involves some kind of action, and most stuffed animals are for wrestling purposes only. But not George. George is Landon's buddy, and Landon takes him everywhere. It is so sweet to see him dragging Curious George around the house. Here are a few pics of Landon hanging out with George.

The Look of a Guilty Child
Well, it didn't take long for Landon to bounce back from the flu. It is like he is making up for lost time. He is into everything, no really, I mean everything. He wants to play with stuff he knows that he shouldn't, he wants to hide from me all the time (thank goodness he hasn't realized that he is "hiding" in plain sight, so it's not too bad; yet), and he is fascinated with climbing on anything and everything. We even had to take our ottoman out of the living room because he was climbing on top of it, and then trying to bounce off. I believe I could be raising a stunt man. Some of Landon's favorite things to do that he shouldn't do are... playing with the phone and the answering machine (and believe me there is not spot too tight for him to squeeze into once he has his mind set to do something).

He also loves to play in the fig tree in our living room. He picks the grass out, throws it on the floor, and then he tries to drag the tree behind him by pulling on the electrical cord attached to the tree.

Like I said earlier, he loves to hide. This is him hiding in the hallway by the garage door. It was REALLY hard for me to find him. Bless his heart.
Here Landon was caught playing with another tree, and decided he would try to hide from me in the tree after I caught him. He may one day be a dare devil, but I don't think a secret agent or spy is going to be a part of his future.
And here we have Landon showing off his love of climbing. He doesn't care that he doesn't fit on the shelf, he is just thrilled that he could climb it.
Although I definitely have my hands full, and I am starting to believe that Landon thinks his name is "No-No", I can't get to upset about his antics because it is just all so funny. It is hard to discipline when you are laughing the whole time. I have my work cut out for me.

Tank Tu
Paul, Landon, and I would like say Thank you or as Landon would say "Tank Tu" for all the prayers. Landon is finally feeling better. He has gone 24 hours without a temperature, and is finally getting his appetite back. He was definitely a sick little boy. His temp got as high as 104.6, and he didn't want to play at all, he only wanted to lay around. Even though Landon was sick, he still managed to keep his manners. Every drink I gave him, he would look at me and say "tank tu". What a sweet little boy! I am so glad he is feeling better. Oh yeah, Landon would like to say to Aunt Geri "Tank Tu" for teaching me how to say "Thank You".

Prayer Request
My little man was up all night running a temperature of 104, and Paul took him to see the doctor this morning. Landon has a confirmed case of the flu, and although we don't know for sure right now, the doctor felt sure that it was the H1N1. Landon is on Tamaflu now, and we are keeping an eye on his temperature and pushing fluids. I know that he will be back to his old self in no time, but please just say a quick prayer for him that he starts to feel better soon! I just hate seeing my little guy feeling so bad.
